The Griffith University Multi-Faith Centre is a venue where people from diverse faith, religious, and spiritual traditions can deepen their understanding of their own faith and actively participate in inter-faith dialogue, education, and action. The Centre seeks to weave together understanding, education, research, and advocacy in inter-faith dialogue towards a culture of peace in local, national, and global contexts.

The Multi-Faith Centre regularly hosts events promoting multi-faith dialogue including talks and symposia featuring scholars and practitioners from various faiths. The Centre is continually expanding its programs and is seeking opportunities to collaborate with institutions, organisations, and individuals in Australia and internationally. It joins the efforts of millions of people and many organisations worldwide who are committed to building a world based on principles of peace, compassion, active non-violence, justice, human rights, inter-cultural respect, sustainability, and spirituality.

One of the Centre's most distinctive features is its Peacepole, which was made by students at St. Laurence's College and planted in 2006. It says “May peace prevail on Earth” in Jaggera, Hebrew, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, and English.

The Multi-Faith Centre was opened in 2002 as a result of generous donations from various individuals and faith communities. Currently it works with Griffith University through initiatives including:

- Conference room bookings / events
- Internships / work experience programs
- Consultancy sessions
- Prayer / reflective spaces
- Mentoring packages
- Tai chi, yoga, and meditation lessons
- Collaborative research

The Centre is used by Griffith University students and staff, private agencies, government departments, community groups and not-for-profit organisations for a variety of events and functions.
